LAW AND WOMEN IN ANTIQUITY

Abstract

This article presents a brief overview of some women of ancient times and mentions the rights and legal protection granted to them by the regulations of their time. These are outstanding women who were recognized by their contemporaries and who have been recorded in historical texts and in the Old and New Testaments.
