Abstract

The background of the appeal for annulment of elections under the absolute government and at the beginning of the validity of the Constitution of Cádiz in Querétaro is analyzed. Firstly, the cases of the Indian republics are studied, and secondly, starting in 1820, the challenges to citizen elections.
